We believe a fragrance should tell a story, and with our latest creation, Sheng (身), we wanted to capture the profound beauty of life's emergence. Shēn means "body" or "life" in Chinese, and for us, this perfume is a celebration of germination, of that incredible moment when life bursts forth from a seed, or when countless microscopic lives awaken within the rich soil of a forest floor. It's the dancing of beautiful life in myriad species, a vibrant, uplifting symphony. We aimed to bottle that very energy: fresh, vital, and deeply connected to the Earth.
Our Olfactory Narrative
From the first spritz of Sheng, you're immediately uplifted by an invigorating cascade of freshness. We’ve chosen a trio of Basil, Spearmint, and Peppermint for the top notes – not just for their crisp, herbaceous clarity, but for their immediate sense of awakening. A bright, green flash that feels like the very first breath of a new day. A whisper of Sage adds an almost sacred, aromatic touch, grounding this initial burst with a hint of earthy wisdom.
As the fragrance evolves, you're drawn into the heart, where we sought to evoke the soft, rich feeling of the soil itself, teeming with life. The clean, grounding presence of Cedarwood forms the backbone, while our innovative Mugane™ molecule brings a wonderfully airy, almost transparent freshness that lifts the composition, creating a sense of natural spaciousness.
